Membership
Who
- Any student at elementary school and over with ID, residing in Young-gwang County, can apply for membership of the library.
How
- One should visit the library with ID(Resident Card, driver’ license, student card with the resident No.)
- and fill out the membership application form in the consolidated material room. After being issued the membership card, one can loan books.
- Only reading members can check out books. A maximum of three books may be checked out at a time, and the loaned books should be returned within 14 days from the loaned date(But lending period may be extended for additional 14 days for one time).
- If one has lost one’s membership card, one should visit or call the library to notify the loss.
- During a visit to the library, one can have one’s membership card re-issued immediately and use the lending service at once.

Regulations for limit on lending
- Rare books, reference books, and complete collections may be subject to limit on lending.
- Those who do not intentionally return books or who hand over loan books to other(s) are subject to compensation for the books. Those who have lost, stained or damaged loan book(s) on purpose or by mistake are subject to compensation in cash equivalent to the book(s) in question, and lending books to them is suspended as a penalty.
- Also books and other reading materials which are being re-arranged during general stocktaking, or those whose parts have been severely lost or damaged are limited to be loaned.
How to use the library
- Visitors can use reading rooms freely(there is no reserved seat system).
- Any local resident may use the library and its facilities freely.
